Guest BIO:

Megan (200hr RYT) grew up in Colorado where her love of fitness and a healthy lifestyle began. She started teaching yoga in 1999 after the birth of her second son in order to balance her busy life and fitness routines, which included teaching cycling, aerobics, Pilates, and H20 classes.

Megan’s style of teaching incorporates alignment-based asana, along with pranayama, and meditation.  She believes yoga is about calming the mind, freeing the body, raising energetic vibrations and recognizing the light within you. She is committed to instructing yoga with an emphasis on the expression of truth, love and relief.  When you leave Megan’s class and step off your mat, where the real practice begins you will be better prepared to engage in a skillful, soulful, peaceful, vibrant way.

As a wife and mother of three, (2 boys and a girl) Megan knows balance is a moving target and one must constantly be evolving.  "If you're not evolving, you're decaying” We are verbs not nouns. … human be-ings. And in 2015 after teaching for 13yrs she went back for a 200 RYT teacher training to become a certified Wanderlust teacher.

Her latest evolution and new identity have been completing a 2-year Ayurveda training to becoming a yoga health coach through Yogahealer with Cate Stillman.
